Watercolor: Nature As Inspiration with Molly
Register Here
Nature not only provides amazing inspiration for visual art, but as we dive deeper into the stories of the objects we’re drawing, sometimes we find incredible facts to inspire our lives as well. We’ll begin by exploring some fascinating facts about barnacles, bivalves and geodes.
Then we’re going to spend time drawing variations of each. These drawings will be slow, mindful and relaxing and are not meant to be perfect. We’ll also work with adding color to our drawings using watercolors, markers and other water-soluble supplies. Finally, we’ll talk about how to incorporate a mindful drawing practice into your everyday life for moments of calm and quiet and also how to use the stories about these amazing creatures to comfort, empower and inspire ourselves.

We’ll begin with a guided introduction to color basics and simple ways to build palettes that feel bold, balanced, or unexpected. From there, you’ll dive into collage using a mix of papers, textures, and found imagery—cutting, layering, and composing intuitively as you respond to color.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll be encouraged to follow curiosity over perfection, using color to guide your decisions and shape your compositions.
Come as you are—no prior experience needed. Kids are welcome as long as with a caregiver or parent!

Soul Collage® Workshop, Going Deeper with Lisa
SoulCollage® is a gentle, creative process for exploring the many parts of yourself. Using simple materials—images, scissors, glue, and cards—you intuitively create a personal deck of collaged cards that reflect aspects of who you are. This workshop goes deeper to learn about the four suits, based on Seena Frost’s method, and delve into the practice of reading your cards to support and guide you in your daily life.
No artistic experience is needed—just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to listen to the voice of your soul.
Embroidery Mandala
Mandalas are a powerful artistic form used in meditation and healing practices. Using a process of hand-stitching with thread and fabric, we are going to learn ways to use this process not only to slow down, but also to deeply connect with our work. The finished pieces will also serve as a tactile experience, allowing us to read them with our fingers as well as our eyes. This practice is an opportunity to release perfection and spend time enjoying the process of creating, healing and letting go.
