Crochet Lab
This six-week, biweekly series is a space to explore crochet as both a craft and a creative practice. The focus is less on finishing a single project and more on experimenting, learning, and building confidence through hands-on exploration in community.
Meeting every other week, participants will spend time learning and practicing a range of stitches. Each session will include guided demonstrations, open experimentation, and collaborative sharing. You’ll be encouraged to follow curiosity, try new approaches, and learn from others in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
In this series, you will:
Learn and practice foundational and intermediate crochet stitches
Experiment with yarn types, hook sizes, and gauge
Develop a personal “swatch library” of textures and techniques
Build confidence in stitching
Connect with others through shared making and conversation
This lab is open to beginners and experienced crocheters alike—anyone interested in slowing down, exploring the possibilities of stitch, and making in community.
Ages 12+ welcome with a caregiver or parent.
